Some ministers, bureaucrats don’t get Trudeau’s vision for Senate, says André Pratte

André Pratte, 62, a former editor of La Presse, quit his job as a Senator because he was tired of being caught in a battle between partisan Conservative Senators and a government that wasn’t interested in making compromises on legislation that had reached the Senate, he said.
