U.S. Embassy packs NAC for Fourth of July party

U.S. Ambassador Kelly Craft, pictured on July 1, 2018, on Parliament Hill for Canada Day, was a no-show for the Fourth of July party last week in Ottawa because she was in Calgary. The party was also held at the NAC instead of at the U.S. ambassaor's residence in Rockcliffe.

U.S. ambassador to Canada Kelly Craft was in Calgary for the U.S. Independence Day on July 4, and likely getting ready for the kickoff of the Calgary Stampede, so the rest of the U.S. Embassy welcomed thousands of guests to the NAC for a Bayou-style bash....
