Standing Order rewrite expected to wrap up in June, says clerk, but Conservatives concerned, and experts say it’s a good move

Conservative Whip Mark Strahl grilled House Clerk Charles Robert on the initiative last week, suggesting it was out of order and questioning who was driving it. But the House clerk says he's updating the House rules in good faith and if MPs want him to stop, he will.
