Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tells reporters on the Hill that Celina Caesar-Chavannes, a vocal critic of his government, has decided to sit as an independent. Her decision comes a week after a damning interview she gave to the Globe and Mail, alleging that Mr. Trudeau had yelled at her when she informed him of her decision not run for re-election. In a tweet, Ms. Caesar-Chavannes said the interview 'has had unintended consequences for people I care about. ... I no longer want to distract from the great work my colleagues are doing.'
