Some Liberals concerned party hasn’t yet named top campaign officers, compromising election readiness

But Liberal Party spokesman Braeden Caley denies election readiness is being affected because the national campaign committee has not been appointed yet. He said the party has already nominated candidates in more than 160 held ridings, and five in unheld ridings.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has not yet appointed the Liberal Party's national campaign committee to oversee the October federal election, and some Liberal insiders are getting nervous that it's negatively affecting the election readiness of the party.
