Feds mulling options to help GM workers facing layoffs

GM announced Monday it intends to trim operations in North America, a move that will see the closure of its Oshawa facility in December 2019. More than 2,500 employees are expected to be affected by the closure, though it’s still unclear just how deep the cuts will be.
