Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is convening a closed-door meeting at 10 a.m. with the dairy farmers in Montreal, in the wake of the government's decision to make concessions on dairy under the United States-Canada-Mexico Agreement.
Natural Resources Minister Amarjeet Sohi announced on Wednesday, Oct. 3, that the government won't appeal the Federal Court's ruling on the Trans Mountain pipeline. In addition, it has appointed Frank Iacobucci, a retired Supreme Court justice, to lead consultations with First Nations groups.
