Man charged after security incident on Hill’s east lawn

No one was injured in the incident, which took place in the morning during the Changing of the Guard parade on the Hill.

A 24-year-old man was charged with assault after a security incident on Monday on Parliament Hill. Jesse Mooney has been charged by Ottawa police with assault and breach of probation, the police said in a statement on Twitter. ...
