‘Keep us in the game’: labour, industry urge feds to mitigate impact of U.S. tariffs

Labour groups told the House International Trade Committee on Tuesday that the government should support the industry in the form of loans or loan guarantees and want assurances that laid-off employees will have access to Employment Insurance.
