Three new projects approved to accommodate extra broadcast, security, and infrastructure improvement asks related to the Government Conference Centre total almost $42-million.
Public Services and Procurement Canada will make a final call on whether the Centre Block building will be cleared out for construction this summer at the end of the session. House of Commons occupants will move into the West Block building, while Senate occupants will move into the Government Conference Centre for at least a decade during work on Centre Block.
