Government fails to meet veterans’ expectations regarding re-establishment of ‘lifelong pensions’ under new Veterans Charter

There is no reason that the federal government could not have implemented the recommendations made by veteran stakeholders and ministerial advisory groups who have been advocating specific proposals for a number of years to address self-evident gaps and inequities in the New Veterans Charter.
