Conservatives, NDP vow to hammer away at Morneau’s bills, but government might not give them a chance in final weeks before Christmas

The government has also signalled that it will try to push through most, though not all, of the legislation that has already made it past second reading before MPs leave for the holidays. The Senate is likely to sit on the pot legalization bill until the new year after Liberal MP Bill Blair’s admonishment to not delay the bill.
