NDP continues court challenge against BOIE, but current, former MPs repaying money, Cleary says it ‘left a bad taste’

On Nov. 3, the BOIE filed an appeal of the Oct. 24 Federal Court decision to allow the NDP's challenge to go ahead. It' will now go to the Federal Court of Appeal.
NDP MP Pierre-Luc Dusseault, NDP MP Pierre Nantel, former Newfoundland NDP MP Ryan Cleary, and NDP MP Alexandre Boulerice were among a long list of NDP MPs ordered to repay money by the Board of Internal Economy in 2014, totalling almost $4-million.
