‘Plans themselves don’t reduce emissions,’ experts call for more action from Ottawa to tackle climate change

Environment Commissioner Julie Gelfand's report concluded that the government has yet to do 'much of the hard work that is required' to protect its more than $66-billion in government assets such as railways, buildings, and ports from the effects of climate change, and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
