Singh-led NDP could prove to be ‘double whammy’ for Liberals in 2019, could ‘siphon off’ significant chunk of votes

•Liberal MPs who won their seats by less than a 10 per cent margin in the last election, especially in major urban centres, are concerned with Jagmeet Singh’s election. •Liberal MPs said almost all agree that if the NDP vote goes up even slightly in ridings won by close margins, it will give an edge to the Conservatives and the Liberals will lose those seats.
