Slow lobbying month dominated by mining and chocolate

Ferrero Canada and the MIning Association of Canada filed the most communication reports last month.
Ottawa-based Mining Association of Canada took advantage of the quiet summer to lobby Environment Minister Catherin McKenna, whose riding is in Ottawa . The group filed 17 monthly communication reports in July.
The summer lull in federal lobbying was apparent in July, with the federal lobbyists registry getting less than half the communication reports filed in June, and the most prolific lobbyists last month being the Canadian division of Italian chocolate maker Ferrero and the Mining Association of Canada...
