‘Serious possibility’ NAFTA revamp outlasts Trump; longer talks could help Canada, say analysts

The Trump administration's negotiating priorities for the NAFTA suggest it wants to change things, but keep everything the same, says a former Bush adviser.
Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland was on the Hill on Aug. 14 to brief MPs on the House Trade Committee about Canada’s goals in NAFTA renegotiations, the first round of which is set to start in Washington Aug. 16 to 20.
