More Canadians identify as middle class since last election: poll

Nearly two-thirds of respondents said they were part of the middle class in a new poll, an 11 percentage point increase from an earlier survey that preceded the 2015 election.
A new poll suggests more Canadians are identifying as members of the middle class. This should come as welcome news to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, pictured, and the ruling Liberals who have categorized seemingly all of their policies as beneficial to an undefined middle class.
