Reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan besieged by corruption, poor oversight, says U.S. auditor

'We spent too much money, too fast, in too small of a country, with too little oversight, and with too little knowledge of the country and its operations. And that's a recipe for disaster,' says the American official responsible for monitoring reconstruction efforts in Afghanistan.
