Feds’ Elections Act changes seen as ‘cover’ for broken electoral-reform promise

While the bill makes improvements, it’s a 'poor replacement' for a new federal voting system, says the NDP. But the amendments will also reverse the former Conservative government's changes and are aimed at increasing voter turnout.
