Government’s choice to procure interim Super Hornets unfair: critics

There are concerns that once the Canadian military starts using the Super Hornets, it will have an advantage in becoming the long-term solution to Canada's fighter-jet needs.
Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan defended the government’s decision, telling The Hill Times last Wednesday that Boeing did not have preferential access. 'This is about making sure that we have the right tools for the Canadian Armed Forces to fill the capability gap,' he said.
