Feds to serve up both good, bad news to weather looming pipeline storms: lawyer

A lawyer for a B.C. First Nation says he expects cabinet to serve up a 'compliment sandwich.' The compliments are the two slices of bread: final rejection of the Enbridge Northern Gateway project and an oil tanker moratorium. In the middle, something less palatable to opponents.
'The mandated timeline for the government’s decision on the Northern Gateway project is on or before Nov. 25, 2016,' said a spokesperson for Natural Resources Minister Jim Carr, pictured.
