Parliamentary schedule could delay major electoral reform, despite committee rush

The timetable would leave a little more than three weeks of Commons sitting days for the committee to draft and complete a final report to the Commons by Dec. 1, two weeks prior to Parliament’s scheduled winter recess, starting on December 16.
The Green Party leader, a member of the committee, argued the special committee should continue its role as any legislation goes through Parliament.
