Trudeau will be second prime minister to have office in West Block, big move in 2018

To date, only Canada’s second prime minister, and first Liberal one, Sir Alexander Mackenzie has had an office in West Block.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be moving into the old office of Canada’s first Liberal prime minister, Alexander Mackenzie. Everyone in the Centre Block will be moved out in the summer of 2018 and most will be moved into the West Block which will also house a temporary Commons Chamber while the Centre Block is renovated.
