‘This bill will save lives’: Liberal MP McKinnon on his bill up for debate tomorrow

“It’s about public health, it’s about the good of my community…in British Columbia last year there were 465 drug overdose deaths, up 27 per cent from the year before… it’s a very tragic problem, its something that can be avoided," said Mr. McKinnon.
Liberal MP Ron McKinnon's private member's bill, Bill C-224, the Good Samaritan Drug Overdose Act, is scheduled to be debated for the first time at second reading Wednesday, April 20.
