Marijuana task force could assemble this spring, says Philpott

Health, Public Safety, and Justice ministers have been meeting regularly, ahead of announcing the task force to advise the Liberal government on legalizing and regulating marijuana.
During an appearance before a Senate Liberals' open caucus meeting held on Feb. 24, Liberal MP Bill Blair, Toronto’s former police chief, said the task force will be seeking input from Canadians and from experts from across the country to advise on how the government can minimize the harmfulness of marijuana use, while continuing to provide access to medical marijuana for those who need it.
