Liberals have yet to ‘walk the talk’ on renewing nation-to-nation indigenous relationship, ‘Silence is deafening’

Helen Knott, a Cree and Dane-Zaa from Fort St. John in northern British Columbia, and a group of other Peace River Valley farmers and First Nations peoples have decided to peacefully occupy the development site of B.C. Hydro’s 'Site C Clean Energy Project.' The group calls themselves the 'Treaty 8 Stewards of the Land' and set up camp on Dec. 31, 2015, to protest the energy development. B.C.
