Parliamentary research bureau offices are discreet entities on the Hill, tucked away in offices a few streets down from the main precinct and providing internal support to each party caucus, as well as the party leaders offices and the offices of House leaders and caucus whips.

Now in government, the Liberals' $2.4-million research bureau is now “fully functioning” with almost 30 staffers.
