Canadian airstrikes against ISIS down 50 per cent since election started

Canadian CF-18 fighter bombers conducted only 13 air strikes in August, compared to a high of 32 in July and 20 air strikes in June, including one in Syria, figures show.

PARLIAMENT HILL—Canadian air strikes against ISIS targets in Iraq plunged by more than 50 per cent after Prime Minister Stephen Harper called the October federal election, flight totals provided to The Hill Times by the Canadian Armed Forces show.
