One of biggest hurdles to innovation is access to capital: Rickford

In response, last year our government added $400-million into our venture capital coffers, and an additional $60-million in 2013 to help high-potential incubator and accelerator organizations expand their services to entrepreneurs. The Business Development Bank will provide a further $100-million for firms graduating from business accelerators. Again, our government is anticipating the needs of tomorrow, to better position and strengthen the Canadian economy for the future.
