Feds to eliminate landline phones, saving more than $25-million switching to mobile, VoIP

Federal government currently pays $31 per person per month to have a landline. In contrast, cell phones are $5 per month and voice over internet protocol phones cost $15 per month, says Shared Services Canada president Liseanne Forand.
