NDP hold training session for rookie MPs to fight Tories in committees

The session was sparked by recent heated confrontations between the New Democrats and government MPs in the three oversight committees of the Commons—Public Accounts, Government Operations and Estimates and the Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics committee, all chaired by the Official Opposition.

PARLIAMENT HILL—The NDP gave its contingent of rookie MPs a special training session Monday to arm them for expected battles with the majority Conservatives in Commons committees over the next two months.
