Feds to cut $183-million and to save $117-million on wage increases this year

Treasury Board says the feds' plan to find $300-million in savings include $183-million in cuts and $117-million savings on public servants' wage hikes.

Federal government departments have cut another $3-million from their budgets, in addition to $180-million identified in prior estimates last year, but the new numbers in the supplementary estimates C released last week still don't equal a plan, say the Liberals.
