Bill C-32 is an anachronism, entirely rooted in old theory of control
It is hypocritical, and an extreme example of bad law. It balances nothing but expropriates creators where it is assumed that they cannot control uses of their works. Its legacy will be chaos, confusion, and endless battles in the courts.
With its bold title, Bill C-32, The Copyright Modernization Act, promises to bring Canada into the 21st century.
