Conservatives best fundraisers, Liberals want to level playing field
Between January and June this year, the Conservatives raised $8.3-million. The Liberals raised $5.7-million.
The governing Conservatives are still the most successful political fundraisers in the country, but the Liberals are picking up and plan to spend the limit in the next campaign in an effort to eliminate the Conservative Party's strategic financial advantage.
