Ignatieff was not ready for prime time
It is a paradox that a party that prides itself on being led by a public intellectual is coming up with so few genuinely fresh or challenging ideas.
According to a recent massive CBC rolling poll, Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff's threat to set in motion a summer election has cost him the lead in voting intentions. The only saving grace for the Liberals was that his threat turned out to be empty.
