Infrastructure expects 25 per cent growth in ranks to help implement budget stimulus

Government can't say yet how many public servants will be hired to implement $40-billion stimulus.

The Department of Infrastructure expects to increase its staff by 25 per cent, about 50 public servants, in order to deal with the increased demands related to implementing the government's $40-billion stimulus package over two years quickly, according to the department's growth estimates.
