With no opposition leader ready for another election, 40th Parliament could last quite awhile
You don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that this government will last until the Tories find a reason to try again or when the Grits believe they can defeat Harper. It means a long time.
TORONTO—"Canadians told us to work together," is the message, according to many politicians and columnists, after last Tuesday's vote. I don't believe so. In fact there are many and conflicting messages according to geography, culture and demography.
