But Ottawa-Centre NDP MP Paul Dewar, who will be running in one of the hottest races in the country, appeared to be as tranquil as the oil paint landscapes hanging on the walls.
Ottawa before an election is kind of like a frontier town in the Wild West before a gunfight; everyone retreats into their homes and offices and wait on pins and needles for the politicians to start their slinging.
