House Affairs Committee gripped by political difficulties
Whips met last week to talk about cooperation in this particularly testy minority Parliament but show no results.
The House should change the Standing Orders, or House rules, to accommodate minority Parliaments in order to prevent the dysfunction currently gripping some Parliamentary committees, says one MP, but another says such a move would undermine Parliamentary democracy.
