Tory Federal Court challenge under way, official agents have until end of month to file affidavits

If the commissioner of Canada Elections concludes that the election law has been breached, he could refer the matter to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions within the Department of Justice

The Tories have until the end of the month to file their affidavits on the Federal Court challenge surrounding the party's alleged overspending of $1.2-million in the last election, according to the Federal Court of Canada's timeline for judicial review applications.
