Parties receive Elections Canada third quarter ‘allowances’

The Conservative Party received $2,515,737 from Elections Canada last week as part of its third quarter allowance from the last election. In total, the Conservatives have received $6,872,619.57 from Elections Canada for receiving 36.3 per cent of the vote on Jan. 23.
