Frustrated governing Tories say Liberals are 'foot-dragging' Bill C-2, but Senate committee has sat for 16 days to date and has heard 135 witnesses.

After hearing more than 135 witnesses in 75 hours and 16 sitting days, the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee will report the Federal Accountability Act, Bill C-2, back to the Senate by Oct. 26, Liberal Senator Joseph Day says.
