Toews says ATA’s sunset clause should be scrapped, put powers into statute

Justice Minister Vic Toews is suggesting Parliament scrap the sunset clause in the Anti- Terrorism Act and bring the two controversial powers into the law without having to sunset them. He said Parliament could review the entire law regularly to ensure oversight.
