Harper still keeps his transparency’s intentions under wraps

PM Stephen Harper and his minority government should not wait too long to address the growing disclosure vacuum if they really still intend to strengthen transparency in federal politics.

So far, there are mixed signals from the Harper government on what it means by "transparent." It would have been a welcome move if the new government had released a written directive right at the start and from the very top of changes to set out greater transparency in Ottawa. That didn't happen....
