Some former senior Liberal exempt staffers looking to be fast tracked into jobs in federal public service

And some Conservative lobbyists say they're not applying for jobs in the incoming Conservative Cabinet minister's offices because they don't want to stay out of the lobbying business for five years after leaving their jobs.

At least 30 former Grit Cabinet ministerial exempt staffers contacted the federal Public Service Commission between Jan. 24 and Feb. 8 to find out if they are eligible to be fast-tracked into the public service.
