A winter 2006 general election isn’t in the national interest
It's a safe bet a winter election will only reinforce an unconscionable status quo whose ugly manifestation is the advertising scandal.
So here's the plan. After considering two Quebec advertising scam reports, Canadians will pass judgment on Liberal ethics in the first ice-and-snow election since February 1980 when Pierre Trudeau rose from the political dead to rout Joe Clark.
