Tories add to fundraising lead over Grits

In raking in nearly $5-million over the past three months, the Tory Party now has $7.6-million in the bank so far this year, compared to the $3.9-million raised by the governing Grits.

The Conservative Party raised nearly $5-million during the second quarter of 2005, putting yet more daylight between itself and the other parties with seats in the House of Commons, including the governing Grits which raised $1.4-million from April to June.
