Industry players to fight changes to omnibus Copyright Bill
The governing Liberals' long-awaited omnibus Copyright Bill C-60 will be hot this fall. The proposed legislation represents a hard-won victory for Canadian photographers, but many other players plan to fight against other aspects of the bill.
The governing Liberals' long-awaited copyright legislation could be on the table at the next First Ministers' Meeting if the government doesn't heed the call from provincial education ministers to amend the bill to allow for educational use of the internet.
