Parties’ polling costs now part of election expenses: new bill
For the first time, the parties' polling costs will be considered election expenses in Campaign 2004. The changes are being billed as some of the "most far-reaching in the regulation of the finances of federal parties and candidates since the Election Expenses Act of 1974."
